Project Phase 1
The exterior of the school appears worn and dilapidated, without
windows, and a generally neglected appearance. The roof shows signs of decay and it no longer watertight. The overall structure seems unstable, with visible cracks in the walls and dirt floors.
Inside, the classrooms are in disarray. The furniture is old and damaged, with broken desks and chairs that have seen better days. The walls are bare, lacking educational materials or vibrant displays that could inspire learning. The lighting is inadequate due to the school having no power source, casting a gloomy atmosphere throughout the building.
The school's infrastructure is inadequate, lacking essential toilet facilities and amenities. The plumbing system has failed, and the toilets have fallen into a complete state of disrepair making it uncomfortable for students and teachers, with no toilet facility.
The school's library is limited and poorly stocked, with outdated books with no internet or computer resources to support research and learning.
Overall, the poor state of the building hampers the learning environment and affects the morale of both students and teachers. It is evident that urgent repairs, renovations, and investments are needed to provide a safe and conducive space for education.
RESULTS
Father Jules with the help of Tom Armstrong a Local business man and friend of the church parish Denton Manchester funded the build of a new toilet facility. The facility benefits the staff, volunteer's and students.
